As the Materials Officer for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you'll be responsible for the Material Management Lead for the accurate and timely provision of routine codification and maintenance of inventory catalogue data.

What's Involved

Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholdersEnact codification policy, processes,



and procedures and workflows within AustalProvide obsolescence support through Supply Chain Obsolescence surveillance coordination and assessmentsAssist with the development of the Stocktaking Plan and coordination within asset management systemsMaintain up-to-date part catalogue informationAnalyse material requirements and planning informationReview and release auto-generated material requisitions against demand requirements

You'll Need

5+ years' experience in a similar role within Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisationWorking experience in a computerised ERP environmentExperience with, and understanding of, asset management standards, systems and processesExperience with, understanding of codification and cataloguingAbility to achieve engineering delegation within the Austal delegation procedures
