This is an
onsite contract chance working with a large, complex organisation
, supporting a major contractor safety improvement program. The initial engagement is for
3 months, with the potential for an ongoing contract
based on project requirements.
You will provide practical health and safety advice across contractor management and project activities, support contractor management systems, governance and assurance processes, and partner with operational leaders to identify and manage risk. You will facilitate contractor engagement and support Safety in Design initiatives, assist with incident investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement activities, and build strong relationships with project teams, contractors and key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Provide practical health and safety advice across contractor management and project activities
Support contractor management systems, governance and assurance processes
Partner with operational leaders to identify and manage risk
Facilitate contractor engagement and support Safety in Design initiatives
Assist with incident investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement activities




Build strong relationships with project teams, contractors and key stakeholders
About you
Qualifications in Work Health & Safety (or a related discipline)
Proven experience in contractor management
Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, facilities management or major project environments
Strong knowledge of Victorian OHS legislation
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills
A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to influence positive safety outcomes
Safety in Design experience (highly regarded)
Experience supporting capital works or infrastructure projects (highly regarded)
Experience working in large, complex organisations (highly regarded)
