Technical Business Analyst - Data Warehouse - Hybrid environment - wfh & CBD office + Daily rate
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst - Data Warehouse to join a major data transformation program within a leading superannuation organisation.
Working within the PMO, you will play a key role in defining the upfront business and technical requirements for a new enterprise data warehouse. You will work closely with Data Engineers, business stakeholders and an external implementation vendor to ensure requirements are clearly defined and ready for delivery.
The Role:
Gather, analyse and validate
business and technical data requirements
Define requirements for a
new enterprise data warehouse
Undertake
source-to-target analysis and data mapping
Work across
Acurity and other enterprise/member platforms
Develop and maintain
data dictionaries and business glossaries
Define business rules, data definitions and transformation requirements
Work closely with
Data Engineers and Data Modellers
Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders




Work with the implementation vendor to clarify and validate requirements throughout delivery
Key Requirements:
Strong experience as a
Technical Business Analyst
on data-focused programs
Demonstrated
data warehouse / data platform implementation
experience
Strong
data mapping and source-to-target analysis
capability
Experience defining
data dictionaries, business glossaries and data requirements
Good understanding of
SQL, databases and data structures
Experience working closely with
Data Engineering teams
Strong requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Highly Desirable:
Microsoft Azure
data platform experience
Acurity
experience
Superannuation / financial services
experience
Experience with
member administration platforms
Exposure to enterprise data warehouse migrations or transformations
