Position Information
Mulwaree High School is a large comprehensive rural high school of approximately 850 students in Goulburn. The student population comprises 9% Aboriginal students and 5% EAL/D. The school has a staff with a diverse range of experience and offers a wide academic curriculum. The school has a strong focus on building student pride in learning, engendering high expectations and creating a culture of continual improvement. Through its very strong PBL program, Mulwaree High School is committed to the values of respect, responsibility and opportunity and aims to develop young people to make a positive difference as good citizens. Mulwaree High School works closely with partnership schools through the Goulburn Community of Public Schools and the school's pursuit of excellence is supported by a very dedicated P&C.;
Specific Selection Criteria
1. Approval to teach Library approved by the NSW Department of Education
2. Demonstrated skill in managing a school library, including library management systems, digital technologies and implementation of whole school events and programs aligned with the teacher librarian role.
3. Outstanding ability to promote and manage a student-centred Library that functions as a dynamic learning hub to engage, inspire and extend all learners, as they navigate the 21st Century digital landscape, through supporting digital learning, project-based learning practices as well as creative whole school projects.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education,



you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special Notes
Applicants are to include details of their WWCC clearance number as part of this application.
If applicable, engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher Librarian qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education which must be completed within 24 months.
