Located in the heart of the beautiful Riverlands, Monash Primary and Prechool is seeking a passionate and capable Year 1/2 Classroom Teacher to join our team for a short-term contract from 24 August **** to 11 December ****. This role can accommodate .6FTE to full time, to suit the right applicant.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with students and families while implementing effective behaviour management strategies to create a safe, supportive and productive learning setting. They will possess strong organisational skills, a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, and the ability to design and deliver high-quality, engaging curriculum programs with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. A commitment to inclusive education practices and responsive teaching is essential, ensuring the diverse needs of learners are met while supporting student wellbeing, engagement and achievement within a Year 1/2 classroom setting, collaborating strongly with the preschool.

What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant teaching qualification.
Current registration as a teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and effective pedagogical practices.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging learning programs for primary-aged students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
A commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations for all learners.
