About the role
We are seeking an experienced
Coffee Machine Technician
to join our team at our Dudley Park location in South Australia. This is a
full-time position
based in Dudley Park SA ****. As a Coffee Machine Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing our coffee equipment for numerous clients across the region. You will be responsible for ensuring that all machines operate at optimal performance levels, providing technical support to customers, and contributing Segafredo's reputation for excellence and reliability.
What you'll be doing
Install, maintain and service espresso machines and coffee equipment at customer locations
Perform routine preventative maintenance checks to ensure machines operate efficiently and reliably
Diagnose and repair technical faults and mechanical issues with coffee machines
Respond to customer service calls promptly and professionally, troubleshooting problems on-site
Replace worn or damaged parts, including pumps, valves, gaskets and group heads
Clean and descale machines according to manufacturer specifications and hygiene standards
Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs completed and parts used
Provide customers with technical advice and guidance on machine operation and maintenance
Order and manage inventory of spare parts and consumables
Liaise with management to report on customer issues and equipment performance trends
What we're looking for
Relevant qualifications or certifications in equipment servicing, mechanical repair or a related technical field
Proven experience servicing and repairing coffee machines, espresso equipment or similar commercial catering machinery
Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical customers
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritise workload effectively
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer locations across the region
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is highly desirable
Familiarity with Segafredo or similar coffee machine brands is an advantage
