Hays is partnering with a values-driven organisation to appoint an experienced People & Culture Advisor.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a generalist HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, delivering exceptional employee experiences, and contributing to workforce initiatives that support organisational success.
Reporting into the CPO, you will provide broad HR support across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee engagement, workforce reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Providing trusted HR advice and support to leaders and managers
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and selection activities
Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and capability development initiatives
Preparing employment contracts, letters of offer and employment variations
Managing onboarding, induction, probation and employee lifecycle processes
Maintaining accurate employee records and workforce data
Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives
Preparing workforce reports,
people analytics and compliance reporting
Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and services
Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and procedures
What You'll Need to Succeed
Previous experience in a generalist Human Resources or People & Culture Advisor role
Strong recruitment and employee lifecycle management experience
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Experience maintaining HR systems, workforce data and reporting
A proactive and continuous improvement mindset
