We are offering a 24-month paid Telecommunications Traineeship where you'll learn on the job, earn an income and complete a nationally recognised qualification.

About the traineeship: This is a full-time, paid traineeship based in the Cooper Basin.
You'll work two weeks on, two weeks off fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) roster from point of hire Adelaide, giving you quality time at home with family and community between rotations.
Working alongside experienced telecommunications technicians and mentors, you'll complete the Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology (ICT*****) through a combination of hands-on practical work and online learning.
During the traineeship, you'll learn how to : Install, maintain and repair telecommunications infrastructure Install and test data, voice,
fibre optic and network cabling systems Commission and fault-find telecommunications equipment Safely use hand and power tools Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and company policies Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and work instructions Complete job documentation and reports accurately What we're looking for: You don't need previous telecommunications or trade experience.
If you're reliable, willing to learn and enjoy working as part of a team, we'll teach you the rest.
To be successful, you'll need: An interest in building a long-term career in the energy sector The ability to work a 11-hour day, FIFO roster The ability to read and comprehend work instructions, complete written documentation and engage with online learning.
This could be demonstrated through your school, work or life experience.
