As a Systems Engineer, you will work closely with technical and business teams to support building, implementing, and operating regulatory systems.
These systems must align with telecommunications legislation and national interest requirements.

Due to the nature of this role, you must be an Australian Citizen who holds (or be eligible to acquire) an Australian Government security clearance.
What You'll Do Assist senior engineers in delivering end-to-end solutions across the technology lifecycle, from development through to operations Contribute to highly available, secure, and scalable systems, maintaining reliability of critical regulatory platforms Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government and law enforcement agencies, to support solution delivery and operations Participate in security risk assessments and help maintain security architecture in regulated environments Support continuous improvement through modern engineering practices, automation,



and evolving technologies What You Bring Experience in full stack, end to end, systems support, including infrastructure build and operate Linux experience (essential) Virtualization (Proxmox) and Kubernetes (Rancher) experience Software development using: Go (essential) Rust (familiarity, desire to develop the skillset is essential) Python (desired, not essential) Gitlab CICD and SDLC Experience leveraging contemporary cloud native builds, tooling and patterns in an entirely on-premises environment.
E.g. Terraform, Ansible, Packer etc Datacenter experience including the installation and maintenance of server, network and storage Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Engineering; cybersecurity certifications are an advantage The good stuff....
