Contract Administrator – Full-Time Brookhaven Homes Pty Ltd Location: Gold Coast, QLD Employment Type: Full-Time About Us Brookhaven Homes Pty Ltd is a building and construction company based on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

As our business and project portfolio continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and highlyorganised Contract Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role The Contract Administrator will be responsible for supporting the effective administration and commercial management of construction projects from commencement through to completion.
Working closely with management, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients, you will assist with contract preparation and administration, procurement, variations, progress claims, project documentation and commercial coordination.
This is a full-time position and requires a proactive professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, review and administer construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders and other contractual documentation.
Assist with the negotiation and administration of contracts with subcontractors, suppliers and other service providers.
Review contract terms, conditions, specifications and project requirements to ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and appropriately managed.
Coordinate procurement activities, including obtaining and reviewing quotations and assisting with the selection and engagement of subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare, assess and maintain documentation relating to contract variations, extensions,



progress claims and other contractual matters.
Monitor project expenditure and contractual commitments against approved budgets.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract registers, project records, correspondence and supporting documentation.
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients regarding contractual and project administration matters.
Identify potential contractual or commercial issues and assist management in resolving disputes, discrepancies and project-related concerns.
Monitor contractual deadlines, deliverables and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with project reporting and provide contract and commercial information to management as required.
Support the effective completion and close-out of contracts and construction projects.
Skills and Experience Required Diploma or higher qualification in Building and Construction, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, Contract Administration or a related discipline.
Minimum two years of relevant experience in contract administration, construction administration, procurement or project administration.
Sound understanding of construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, procurement processes, variations, progress claims and contract documentation.
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.




Fluent English communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading and writing.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project, contract or business administration software.
Ability to work effectively with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients and other stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a skilled team.
Desirable Previous experience within the residential construction, building or property development industry.
Knowledge of Australian construction contracts, procurement practices and contract administration procedures.
Experience dealing with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants across different stages of construction projects.
Ability to speak an additional language will be considered an advantage, given the company's diverse client, supplier, subcontractor and stakeholder network.
