About the Role
We're currently seeking to fill two entry level Trade Assistant positions within our team. A background in steel manufacturing is advantageous. These are casual roles with the potential to transition into full-time for the right candidates.
You will enjoy working in tidy facility, equipped with some of the latest technology, alongside our friendly and supportive team. The role involves working independently and collaboratively to maintain smooth manufacturing operations. You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to one of Australia's most recognised exhaust and accessory brands.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Previous manufacturing and production experience preferred - Trade certificate advantageous.
Ability to interpret basic drawings and work with precision.
Experience with metal cutting, grinding, and polishing.
Proficiency in stock control, picking/packaging, and palletising.
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and time management skills
Ability to perform continuous manual handling tasks.
Operating machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
Proactive approach to all tasks and responsibilities.
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Forklift licence/experience advantageous.
Current Australian licence and reliable transport.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Cut, clean, and prepare tubes and other materials.
Machine operations.
Plan machining processes by reviewing work orders and drawings.
Verify machine settings and part accuracy through measurements and standards adherence.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery as per manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults and repairs.
Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy.
Maintaining workshop cleanliness and adhering to safety protocols.
Meet production deadlines and maintain efficiency.
Collaborate effectively within a team and approach challenges positively.
A solid willingness to learn, a good attitude, and ability to operate autonomously will create the foundations for a successful and long-term career.
