The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme for health professionals. We protect the public by ensuring only practitioners with the appropriate skills, qualifications and expertise are registered to provide safe care.
The Program Accreditation team supports Accreditation Committees across several health professions, helping ensure nationally consistent accreditation processes that contribute to public safety.
We have a full time fixed term opportunity for an Accreditation Support Officer to join our Melbourne team until 31 December ****.
As an Accreditation Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretariat support to committees and stakeholders, coordinate meetings and events, manage documentation and communications, and contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll play an important role in ensuring activities are delivered accurately, professionally and on time.
We are seeking an organised and proactive team member who enjoys working collaboratively, building connections, and contributing to positive outcomes across a range of stakeholder groups.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your communication style to different audiences.
Experience providing professional administrative, executive or secretariat support, including preparing agendas, meeting papers and minutes.
Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, quality and producing work to a consistently high standard.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, multitask effectively and meet deadlines.
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
Experience using Diligent Boards or similar governance platforms will be highly regarded.
A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
Sound judgement and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to identify opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working.
Experience coordinating meetings, events or stakeholder activities and supporting project-based work.
