About The Role
We are looking for a casual Uniform Shop Assistant to join the team at our O'Connor Catholic College campus.
This role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with customers, has a good eye for detail and is committed to providing exceptional service for our customers by assisting with their purchases and providing information and advice on uniform sizing and requirements to create a welcoming shop experience.
Main duties will include:
•Answer basic customer enquiries via email, phone and in-store.
•Operating the POS system and processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
•Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation.
•Stocktaking
•Fitting student uniforms.
•Reconciling the till
•Liaising with Head Office and key stakeholders within our schools
•Manage shop cleanliness and presentation within our stores
•Implement and follow Alinta policies and procedures
This is a brand new role and is expected to commence in late September/early October.
Uniform shop hours will be:
Monday 8:30am – 11:30am
Wednesday 8:30am – 11:30am




Thursday 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Hours may be extended during peak periods such as school holiday
About You
You will be a friendly and welcoming individual who enjoys working as a cohesive team member, with a solid work ethic and willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
You will have an enquiring mind, the desire to understand the business and an ability to stay informed in an environment where there is so much going on.
You will also possess the following skills and experience:
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a supervisor role
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Competent in using a POS System
• Commitment and willingness to go 'the extra mile' for our staff and customers
• An exceptionally friendly and engaging personality
• A high level of written and oral communication skills
• A professional mindset and flexibility
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines
• The ability to work autonomously and within a team
• The ability to develop and maintain long term relationships with stakeholders
• The ability to problem solve and be a team player
• A high level of store pride, with particular attention to detail on store cleanliness and presentation
