About the role
We are excited to announce our expansion to the Peel Region with the addition of a new Digital PETCT service which has recently opened at our Mandurah branch.
In addition to our 3 hospital sites, St John of God in Subiaco, Hollywood Hospital in Nedlands and our joint venture with GenesisCare within the St John of God Murdoch campus, our Mandurah service will ensure that patients living south of Perth can access the care they need with the convenience of being closer to home.
Our Mandurah site is our largest community site at SKG, boasting all modalities on offer outside of a hospital setting, with up to 90 staff onsite every fortnight.
About You
We are on the hunt for experienced Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET-CT examinations producing the highest quality images from procedures, whilst ensuring the best possible service is given to our patients at all times.
Our Senior will lead our Mandurah based service providing their expertise and guidance to ensure the smooth running of the department and having a direct impact on its growth.
The Nuclear Medicine Manager team includes a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Medical Imaging Assistant, rotating Medical Imaging Technologist from the branch, as well as the Senior role.
Our Mandurah site is our largest community site at SKG, boasting all modalities on offer outside of a hospital setting, with up to 90 staff onsite every fortnight.
If you are looking for the next step, this is a great opportunity to grow as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and gain experience at a Senior level.
This position is Full Time worked as 80 hours per fortnight, with the option to participate in a monthly RDO (rostered day off) after your probation period.
The hours are Monday to Friday only, no requirement for weekend, public holiday or on-call hours.
Our ideal candidates will have the below:
Relevant Nuclear Medicine qualification
Current registration with AHPRA – Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
Current Radioactive Substances licence from the WA Radiological Council (or eligibility for interstate/overseas candidates)
A consistent Patients First focus
Demonstrated ability to perform high quality imaging examinations
The ability to work both independently and within our wider medical imaging team at Mandurah
Excellent communication and time management skills
A caring, compassionate nature
Please note that the successful candidate is required to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases prior to commencement of employment.
