About the Role
The primary purpose of the Warehouse Officer is to ensure the efficient receipt of materials and maintain effective vendor communication.
Location: QE Perth Supply Base, Hazelmere!
Specific Responsibilities
Checking and signing consignment notes
Loading and unloading freight
Stock picking and processing of goods issues
Stocktaking
Use of staging and tracking tool in SAP
Packing materials for transport
Loading of packages into offshore containers for sea freight
Any other duties as directed by us.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
Advanced experience using SAP
High risk forklift ticket
Knowledge and understanding of warehousing operations
Desirable
Knowledge and experience of applicable standards and legislation for dangerous goods handling and storage awareness
Demonstrated experience completing IMDG documentation
Demonstrated experience handling dangerous goods
Certificate III qualifications in warehousing operations or the ability to achieve
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
IATA
Current First Aid certificate
