About the Role
Join our inclusive team as a Trainer Assessor, committed to delivering enriching learning experiences for current and aspiring professionals in the Pathology Collection sector.
Reporting to the Lead Trainer Assessor - Pathology Collection, this fulltime role involves:
Delivering training centre-based training.
Supporting students in developing technical pathology collection skills, including venous blood and other specimen collection, specimen collection for drugs of abuse, first aid and more.
Ensuring compliance with industry and national standards, and client requirements.
Providing timely assessment and feedback to ensure student progression.
Building and maintaining solid relationships with student and clients to support positive training outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications
Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or higher) OR significant Pathology Collection industry experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****, TAE*****, or TAE*****) or higher level qualification in Adult Education*.
Qualified Secondary School Teachers are encouraged to apply (additional training may be required).
Valid driver's licence and own vehicle for workplace visits
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high attention to detail
Previous training or teaching experience (highly regarded)
Hold, or can obtain, a valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
*Please note: Trainer Assessors must be qualified to ensure quality education and compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) ****.
