If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.Job DescriptionCourier drivers are responsible for safely transporting road freight using the most cost-effective route while providing exceptional customer service.ResponsibilitiesCarry out delivery and pickup across metropolitan and regional areas.Organise outbound freight by planning route schedules and inspecting packages and validating package labels.Record and notify management of any faulty packaging or damaged itemsUtilise appropriate equipment to load and unload vehicles.Safeguard freight to prevent movement during transit.Adhere to punctual completion of runs.Obtain recipient signatureDeliver superior customer service during all interactions.Ensure proper handling and security measures for all packages.Address delivery challenges, such as damaged items or inaccessible delivery locations.Skills And ExperienceMinimum of 6 months' experience in a similar roleValid driver's license for a two-axle rigid vehicleGood driving recordProficiency in operating various loading equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacksExcellent customer service skillsPhysical staminaKey Physical DemandsIndividual lifting up to 20kg, with typical weights between 2kg and 10kgConstant standing and walking and may squat to lift items.
