Fairholme College is a respected independent school for girls, welcoming around 900 students from Kindergarten to Year 12, including a vibrant and diverse boarding community.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Boarding House Staff Member to join our residential team in Term 2, 2026. This is a full-time role, which includes regular overnight shifts, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of girls aged 11 to 18.

/n

This is more than just a job — it's a hands‐on opportunity for someone who is passionate about walking alongside young people, building strong connections, and creating a secure, positive space where girls feel supported, respected, and ready to thrive.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Qualifications and experience in youth work, residential care, education, or a related field

/n

A genuine interest in working with adolescent girls in a supportive, relational way

/n





The ability to work collaboratively as part of a caring and professional team

/n

A strong sense of responsibility, warmth, and the emotional intelligence to support boarders' wellbeing

/n

Experience in a school or residential setting is highly desirable, but we also welcome applicants from youth work, social care, or community support backgrounds.
