We’re looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy Hunter Valley team in a permanent part‑time position. This is an excellent opportunity for a community pharmacy technician looking to transition into the hospital environment, with full training and support provided.
What You’ll Do
Hospital pharmacy is a dynamic and rewarding workplace where teamwork, accuracy, and patient care are at the centre of everything we do. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.
- Dispense and supply medication for hospital patients and outpatients.
- Deliver medications to hospital wards and assist with medication rounds.
- Assist with managing ward imprest and stock management activities.
- Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees.
- Pharmacy claims and general administration duties.
What You’ll Bring
While hospital pharmacy experience is highly regarded, it’s not essential. Full training will be provided to support your transition into hospital pharmacy.
Eligibility Requirements
- Australian working rights with a minimum of 12 months’ validity.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a pharmacy dispensary.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in hospital pharmacy.
- Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy or equivalent.
