The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Coastal Engineerto implement of the City’s Coastal Hazard Risk Management andAdaptation Plans (CHRMAPs) that facilitate the adaptive managementof the coastal, riverine and estuarine environments withinMandurah. You will maintain and improve the City’s Coastal andMarine Asset Management Plan, undertake coastal managementmonitoring programs and provide engineering analysis of themonitoring data to understand both local and regional coastal andwaterways processes

You will be technologically capable, solutions focused, have theability to manage projects and be able to contribute to the safeand sustainable design, operation, maintenance and management ofcoastal and marine infrastructure. You are passionate about yourprofession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.

To be successful in this role, you willneed:

- Bachelor’s degree in related Engineeringdiscipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in coastal, marine,or port engineering
- Hold a current unrestricted ‘C’ class nationaldriver’s licence.
- Eligibility for membership of EngineersAustralia.
- Ability to obtain Recreational SkippersTicket
