Large 100 staff accounting firm. A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Manager to step into a leadership role with a clear pathway to equity partnership in the medium term because of a succession plan.
THE ROLE
You will work with both directors to manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients while leading a team of accountants and bookkeepers. A big proportion of the client base in this team are rural, primary production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing client relationships
- Reviewing compliance and advisory work
- Tax planning and business structuring advice
- Managing workflow and team performance
- Working with in-house financial planning team
You will also play a key role in the future growth and direction of the firm.

YOU
- CA or CPA qualified
- 6+ years’ Australian public practice experience
- Strong business services and tax background
- Experience managing workflow and reviewing staff work
- Exposure to SME groups, multi-entity structures and SMSFs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with Xero, XPM, and Class is highly regarded.
