As the Warehouse and Despatch Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of all goods to and from the Victorian site to customers and other Stoddart sites, as well as the appropriate packaging and storage of stock. The role requires building robust relationships with our external partners in the supply chain and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders with competing demands. Working in a small team, this role requires the willingness to undertake basic warehousing tasks on a daily basis.
More specifically your duties will include the following:
Receive and action general enquiries, requests for quotes, time estimates and preferred freight company by phone and email
Assist with an array of problem‑solving issues of missing, late and damaged freight with internal/external stakeholders
Check and sign off freight invoices against spreadsheets and rate cards
Assess items for delivery including size, weight, special delivery requirements and a/c clearance (cash sales or past grace)
Consolidate orders according to delivery location
Generate consignment notes, address labels, shipping dockets and make shipment entries
