Highly regarded, established female Urologist seeks an experienced secretary to work in her practice.

Friendly and supportive environment, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team including administration staff, nurse practitioner, physiotherapist and urologists.

Previous experience working in a medical practice essential, with proficiency using Genie/Gentu software preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

General reception duties including meet and greet, attending to incoming phone calls and email.

Organising patient appointments including surgical, pre and postoperative, consultation, follow-up and referrals.

Patient invoicing, surgical billings and dealing with health funds.

Hospital & theatre bookings, liaising with anaesthetists and surgical assistants.

General administrative duties including screening and sorting mail,



documents, correspondence and telephone calls, maintaining office files and patients records.

Pro-active and very organised.

Strong attention to detail, time management and problem solving.

Show great empathy toward the patient.

Adhere to qualified standards with integrity.

Punctual, hard-working and reliable.

Prior experience working in a busy surgical practice.

Experience with Genie and/or Gentu software.

Be a team player, but able to work autonomously.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Willing to train suitable candidates if some experience/skills lacking.
