SEQH is looking for a Wash Bay Attendant to join our team. You will be responsible for cleaning trucks, containers and equipment and ensuring they meet strict Biosecurity requirements.
The Role
- Monday to Friday
- Early starts
- Full-time hours available
- Casual position initially, with the opportunity to move to full-time for the right person
- Hands-on work
- Cleaning trucks, containers and equipment
- Using pressure hoses and wash-down equipment
- Following Biosecurity and safety procedures
- Helping the Warehouse team when required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and turns up to work every day
- Has a valuable attitude and is willing to learn
- Takes pride in their work
- Can work safely and follow instructions
- Is physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Has good attention to detail
- Can work well as part of a team
- Has basic mechanical knowledge – desirable
- Has experience using pressure hoses – desirable
- Holds a current High Risk Work Licence – required
- Has a Biosecurity Approved Person Certificate – desirable
IMPORTANT: You must be able to pass a urine drug and alcohol test and criminal history check.
