Job Description

Mulberry Group You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include cutting and measuring materials according to a client's requirements or as directed to by management.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
- Assisting supervisors and or supervising onsite planning, layout and installation.
- Conduct all aspects of carpentry work including but not limited to the installation of doors, windows, plasterboard, cabinets, stairs, skirtings decking and any other fixtures as required.
- Demonstrate good time management skills, ensure tools and materials are available, communicate any concerns or discrepancies and ensure all paperwork is submitted on time, every time.
- Ability to assess the quantity and quality of woodwork and materials.
- Ability to safely operate tools, machines, and other equipment that you hold a valid licence to operate.
- Compliance with local building codes,



and health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate ability to work either on own or as part of a team where possible assist in setting up tasks for co-workers.
- Ability to work unsupervised and be proactive and productive
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects safely You will be hardworking, reliable, have good communication, time management and organisational skills.

You must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field. You should demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to give transparent direction when required as you might be responsible for a small team of apprentices or carpenters. You should lead by example, follow company policies and procedures at all times and ensure safety and adherence to OH&S; is a priority.
