What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping our buses looking and operating at their best. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Bus body repairs, panel replacement, and straightening
- Minor fabrication work in steel.
- Unscheduled accident repairs and maintenance.
- Annual licensing pre-inspection for Transperth vehicles.
- Working safely and following company policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as per the positions JDF.
What we're looking for:
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and wants to build a long-term career with Swan Transit.
You'll need:
- A relevant trade qualification and proven industry experience.
- A current C class drivers licence or higher (MR or HR desirable but not essential).
- A proactive, team-focused attitude. .
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment.
- The ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including a medical assessment and National Police Clearance.
