We are currently looking for skilled and experienced Barbers/ Hairdresser to join our team. These are permanent, full time positions.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing advice on hair care, products and hairstyles
2. Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps
3. Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
4. Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
5. Cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments
6. Arranging appointments and collecting payments
7. Provide consistent experience across all services including haircuts, shaves and beard services
8.
Open the shop in the morning and complete open admin tasks
9. End of day close/cash reconciliation and handling
Qualifications and Skills:
1. AQF Certificate lll or minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Barber/Hairstylist
2. Competent in all haircut styles, fades and on trend styling, as well as all shave and beard services
3. Understand what is current in the industry
4. A basic understanding of upselling techniques/retail offering
5. A positive and respectful attitude
6. Leadership qualities
Salary range: $79,423 to $85,000
