Located in Mawson Lakes SA 5095, Pizza Lab Adelaide is seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to become part of their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas and other menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Preparing ingredients, including dough, sauces, meats, vegetables, and other toppings for daily kitchen operations.
• Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistency, presentation, and food quality.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and ordering supplies while minimising food wastage.
• Inspecting food ingredients and finished dishes to ensure freshness, quality, and consistency.
• Working collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
About you:
• At least one year of relevant experience as a Cook.
• Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valuable communication and time management skills.
• Passion for producing high-quality food and maintaining excellent kitchen standards.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $76,000 - $86,000 per annum
