Earnshaw Ag is a family-owned business located in Lake Grace, approximately 350km south-east of Perth, Western Australia.

We specialise in repairs and maintenance of farming equipment and also manufacture new agricultural products such as Augers and Seed Super Bins.

We are currently recruiting for the following full-time positions:

- Metal Fabricators / Welders
- Vehicle Painter
- Metal Machinists
- Fitters (General)
- Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson
- Painters

Requirements - Metal Fabricators / Welders:

- Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or similar)
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in fabrication and welding in a workshop environment
- Experience welding and fabricating mild steel / aluminium
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
- Exposure to assembly and repair of agricultural components - Highly regarded
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and production documents
- Experience in cutting, bending, and grinding light and heavy gauge materials

Requirements - Vehicle Painter:

- Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application - or equivalent)
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar vehicle painting role
- Experience performing abrasive blasting of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
- Experience preparing surfaces by cleaning, degreasing, masking, and sanding




- Proficient in industrial coatings using airless and conventional spray equipment

Requirements - Metal Machinists:

- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to operate manual lathes and milling machines
- Experience performing turning, boring, facing, drilling, threading, and milling operations
- Ability to measure and inspect machined components using precision tools - Vernier callipers, dial indicators, bore gauges
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and confirm dimensions meet specifications
- Experience machining materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
- Experience with component repair, re-machining, and refurbishment of worn parts
- Ability to perform machine setup, tool changes, and basic machine maintenance
- Experience with deburring, finishing, and preparing machined components for assembly

Requirements - Fitters (General):

- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Experience conducting repairs, servicing, and maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery
- Ability to strip, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical components
- Experience with alignment and fitting of mechanical components
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, manuals, and specifications





Requirements - Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson:

- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role and hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or equivalent qualification
- Prepare, check, and maintain technical 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems
- Produce production-ready drawings suitable for manufacturing
- Ability to translate engineering concepts and sketches into detailed, accurate CAD designs
- Ability to apply engineering and drafting standards in all drawings
- Experience working with assembly drawings, component drawings, and part lists to support production
- Exposure to drawing revisions and updates based on engineering or production feedback
- Ability to Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent) to create and modify designs
- Experience in dimensioned drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications for manufacturing
- Prepare and execute drawings for sheet metal, mechanical assemblies, and fabricated components

Requirements - Painters:

- At least 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Painting and coating direct fit heavy industrial exhaust
- Spraying surfaces of machines and other manufactured products
- Working with protective or decorative material and associated equipment systems
- Protected use of Spray Gun and Mechanical Mixers
- Selecting and mixing coating liquids
- General workshop and yard duties which includes physical labour

A salary between $78,000 - $85,000 will be on offer for these positions.
