Salary: 85,000 to 95,000 AUD plus superannuation

About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will undertake a broad range of carpentry duties across residential and commercial projects, working closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to (and may be varied):

·Construct, install and repair timber structures, frameworks, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows and cabinetry.

·Read and interpret construction drawings,



specifications and building plans to accurately complete carpentry works.

·Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials using both hand and power tools.

·Install formwork, framing, cladding, flooring, skirting, architraves, doors, windows and other structural and finishing components.

·Carry out maintenance, repair and renovation work on existing buildings and structures.

·Ensure all work complies with Australian building standards, workplace health and safety requirements and company quality standards.

·Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades to ensure projects are completed within required timeframes.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Relevant legal qualifications required. Adequate experience may be acceptable in lieu of formal qualifications.
2. Minimum 1 year of proven work experience
3. Ability to interpret technical drawing and construction specification
4. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, building materials, and Australian construction practices
5. Commitment to workplace health and safety
6. Robust communication and leadership skills.
