Chef – Oasis @ Newman (Pilbara, WA)

Due to a recent expansion (now ~850 rooms), we’re growing our kitchen team and have a rare opportunity for an experienced Chef to join us.

About the Role

You’ll be working in a high-volume kitchen servicing workforce accommodation, delivering consistent, high-quality meals across breakfast and dinner service.

We’re looking for someone who:

1. Has solid experience in a commercial kitchen

Responsibilities/Tasks:

- Planning menus,



estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies

- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, other chefs, kitchen and waiting staff

- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

- Preparing and cooking food

- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

- Training other staff

- Freezing and preserving foods

Requirements

1. AQF Associate Degreem Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR
2. Relevant commercial kitchen experience - 3 +years
3. Current Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
