Our client is well known for providing products to the construction, manufacturing and industrial industries. They are known for their quality, reliability and commitment to every job.

Due to growth, we're seeking a Bookkeeper to join the team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping and financial administration functions for the company 4 additional entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

The role:

- Assist with day to day administration tasks including reception and mail, stationery orders, office consumables, PPE and uniforms
- Debtors, Creditors, General Ledger, BAS Statements and GST
- Carry out Trade References and ATO Checks for ABN & GST compliance
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Managing the day to day accounting transactions
- Monitor bank accounts, bank and credit card reconiliations
- Manage month end processes
- Monitor Term Deposits, liaising with bank to achieve the best returns
- Processing of invoices
- Prepare payroll
- Process Workcover reconciliations, payments and claims
- Coordinate superannuation payments and maintain records for compliance
- Prepare Bank Guarantee applications, monitor and arrange return with Builders upon completion of project




- Monitor vehicles for registration renewals
- Source competitive quotes for insurance, phones, electricity, gas cleaners etc.

- Experience across a wide range of accounting functions
- Strong level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for workload
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team
- Ability to solve problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong computer software skills - Microsoft and MYOB
