With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are seeking experienced Carpenters for an immediate start.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The candidate is expected to perform the following:

1. Accurately read and interpret Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure the correct execution of works.
2. Select, cut, and assemble timber and proprietary formwork materials suitable for high-pressure concrete pours and harsh civil site conditions.
3. Set out, assemble, install, and dismantle formwork systems for concrete structures in accordance with engineering drawings, project specifications, and Australian Standards.
4. Build temporary support structures,



bracing systems, access platforms, and edge protection to maintain structural stability and site safety during concrete pours and grouting operations.
5. Inspect formwork for correct alignment, levels, dimensions, and stability, and complete required pre-pour checklists and quality documentation.
6. Supervise, guide, and mentor junior carpenters and labourers, coordinate daily tasks, and support efficient and productive workflows on site.
7. Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, site safety plans, and company policies, actively promoting a safe working workplace.
8. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and construction-related issues on-site to minimise delays and maintain project timelines.
9. Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of project milestones.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate the following:

1. A minimum of 1–2 years' relevant experience in carpentry.
2. Knowledge of construction site best practices and safety procedures.
3. White Card – Work Safety in the Construction Industry.
4. Relevant carpentry qualification is preferred.
5. PPE (long sleeve, long pants, hard hat, hi-vis, and steel-cap boots)
