Part-time | 3 days a week | Veterinary Wholesaling
Do you love a workday that's never the same twice? Are you handy with tools, sharp with logistics, and just as comfortable chatting to a client as you are fixing a piece of equipment? We want to hear from you.
We're a small, close-knit and rapidly growing veterinary wholesaling business, and we're looking for an all-rounder to join our team. One day you might be troubleshooting a repair, the next you're checking stock before it goes to market or packing an order for dispatch. We take real pride in our customer service and how we communicate — with each other and with our clients — and we're after someone who'll bring that same energy.
What you'll be doing
- Assessing and fixing products — think a stainless steel cage with a door that won't close, or checking a medical instrument meets our standards before it goes to market. Nothing overly technical, and easy to pick up if you've got a practical, problem-solving mind.
- Managing stock across our two warehouses, and checking equipment in and out on arrival and dispatch.
- Packaging and preparing orders for dispatch and organising couriers.
- Occasionally liaising with clients and suppliers by phone or email to troubleshoot problems or advise on product selection.
- Supporting our sales team wherever needed.
What you'll bring
- Bags of initiative — you're just as happy working things out independently as you are pitching in with the team.
- An organised, logistics-minded brain. Likely you've got a background in manufacturing or a similarly hands-on trade.
- A current forklift licence — this one's essential.
- Intermediate computer skills — we run on Outlook and MYOB.
- A genuine willingness to learn — no veterinary product experience needed, just curiosity and a valuable attitude.
- A good sense of humour — we work hard, but we like a laugh along the way.
