Boston Built Pty Ltd is a fully integrated commercial builder and developer with a major pipeline of projects extending through to 2030 and beyond.

We're looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter to join our growing construction team on our Arundel development comprising 115 industrial units.

This is not a role where you'll spend your days sitting in an office.

You'll be on the tools, leading from the front and working alongside your team every day.

We're looking for someone who knows how to get the best out of people, leads by example and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be responsible for leading a team of up to 10 carpenters and construction workers, while remaining hands-on and working alongside them.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and coordinating a team of up to 10

- Planning daily works and allocating tasks

- Working on the tools alongside your team

- Driving productivity and maintaining high standards

- Motivating and supporting your team

- Coordinating with our construction management team

- Working closely with our formwork, steel fixing, concreting, panel and crane crews

- Maintaining quality and attention to detail

- Ensuring safe work practices are followed

- Reading plans and working to construction schedules

- Identifying issues early and working with management to resolve them

- Helping build a positive, productive and enjoyable site culture

YOUR EXPERIENCE

We're particularly interested in carpenters with experience in:

- Pre-cast concrete panel manufacturing

- Formwork





- Commercial construction

- Structural carpentry

- Leading teams

- Working in fast-paced construction environments

Experience in pre-cast panel manufacturing and formwork will be highly regarded, but we're ultimately looking for the right person with the right attitude and leadership ability.
