Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct rapid patient assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring to identify and respond to clinical deterioration.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for emergency, trauma, and acute presentations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans across the continuum of care.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective treatment outcomes.




- Prioritise and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced emergency setting while maintaining patient safety.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to junior nurses, students, and other care staff.
- Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety initiatives.
- Educate patients, families, and carers, promoting informed decision-making and health literacy.
