We are currently seeking an experienced multi-skilled civil operator to join a busy and well-established construction company working across civil infrastructure, pier installations, earthworks, and site development projects.
This is not a driving-only role, you must be confident operating an excavator on active civil sites, as well as safely transporting materials between locations using a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck.
This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring strong construction experience and machine competency.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of HR truck for material transport to and from sites
- Confident operation of excavator on civil construction sites
- Assisting with pier installations, earthworks, and general civil construction tasks
- Working closely with site supervisors and crews to complete daily scopes
- Following all site safety procedures and compliance requirements
- Supporting multiple aspects of civil construction projects as required
Must Have
- Valid HR Heavy Rigid Licence
- Excavator operating experience
- Previous experience working in civil construction / earthworks / infrastructure projects
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong understanding of site safety and machinery operation
Highly Regarded Experience
- Pier installation experience
- Drainage, excavation, or foundation work
- Multi-machine tickets (bobcat, loader etc.)
- White Card
