We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our team at Constructive PD in Mandurah, Western Australia. This full-time role will see you working alongside our skilled tradespeople, providing essential support to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting tradespeople with a variety of tasks, such as material handling, tool preparation, and general site clean-up
- Performing general labouring duties, including digging, drilling, and demolition work
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment by following all health and safety protocols
- Working collaboratively with the construction team to ensure project milestones are met
- Undertaking any other duties as required to support the success of the project
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Labourer, in the construction industry
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment, and a keen interest in the trades
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the Mandurah work site
- Telehandler Licence – not essential but favourable
- Construction White Card – essential
