Physiotherapist – MBPH@Home
Casual - $52.70 per hour

The Role:
MBPH@Home is a valued part of Mildura Base Public Hospital's Community Services team, delivering physiotherapy within the subacute setting through the Transition Care Program, Rehabilitation in the Home, and Geriatric Evaluation and Monitoring at Home.

As the MBPH@Home Physiotherapist, you'll provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based treatment plans to clients in their own homes, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support client goals and continuity of care. You'll contribute specialist physiotherapy advice to case conferencing and overall client care planning, support Allied Health Assistants within the program, and have the opportunity to supervise Grade 1 Physiotherapists and students as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential:

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent

- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)

- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience to assess, treat and plan discharge for clients with complex conditions, establish therapeutic goals and interventions, and prescribe equipment

- 3+ years of experience in community-based programs and/or rehabilitation

- Knowledge and experience of the Aged Care Act 2024 and Strengthening Aged Care Quality Standards

- Current Victorian driver's licence

Desirable:

- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills

- Experience with clinical or student supervision

- Demonstrated time management skills to manage a caseload, meet deadlines and set goals as required

- Proficient IT skills in email, internet and Word

This role is classified under the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement,



starting from Physiotherapist Grade 3 Year 1 based on relevant years of experience.
