First impressions matter. That's why the title of this role is not "Receptionist", instead we call it the Director of First Impressions because you'll set the tone for everyone who walks through our door or picks up the phone.
What you'll be doing
- Being the first point of contact for our clients, in person and on the phone.
- As part of our Operations team, you’ll be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly, as well as organising and managing our workflow.
- Supporting our advisory and accounting team with day-to-day admin so they can focus on clients.
- Collating jobs and collecting information from clients when required.
- Managing correspondence, appointments and everyone’s diaries as well as all the other small details that make a big difference.
- Bringing energy to the team because we work hard,
but we like to have fun doing it.
What we're looking for
- A friendly, cheerful, and proactive approach - you genuinely enjoy people.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A team player who pitches in wherever needed.
- Experience in a professional office environment (accounting, legal, or advisory a bonus, not essential).
- Well organised, with a good eye for detail.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- A willingness to learn new things and to ask for help when needed.
- Exposure to Xero is a plus, though not essential — we'll get you up to speed
