About the Role:

Reporting to the Site Maintenance Supervisor this is an exciting chance for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnosing engine & machine system problems, repairing & overhauling diesel engines and components on a large mobile fleet with experience working on CAT & Komatsu Heavy Earthmoving equipment is essential.





Roster & Location: 8 days on, 6 days off (Tue to Tue) based at Newmont Boddington Gold Mine DIDO - stay in camp position or live in the Boddington area.

About you:

- Hold a Nationally recognised certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining heavy earthmoving machinery
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals
- Current Australian Drivers Licence (HR is desirable)
- Safety focused mindset with a solid work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Desirable:

- HRWL - LF, WP, CN, DG
- Work safely at heights
- Experience working on Caterpillar Bulldozers
- Previous experience with Pronto
- Certificate II in Automotive air conditioning technology

- Competitive hourly rate plus site allowances: Full Time $60 - $70 per hour or Casual $70 - $83 per hour
