This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026.

Dianella Secondary College Education Support Centre (ESC) is a diverse multicultural secondary school that caters for students with disabilities from Years 7 to 13. We are located on the same site as Dianella Secondary College and Dianella College Primary School. Together, we have developed a positive relationship focused on supporting students and families.

The Role

Dianella Secondary ESC is seeking an experienced administrator who would work closely with the Principal and members of the administration team to provide educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the school vision and facilitating workforce effectiveness.

The successful applicant should be a highly effective leader with outstanding interpersonal skills and professional practice firmly grounded in positive support practices. We are ideally seeking a team member with a strong understanding of education support curriculum, positive behaviour support policies and procedures, as well as proven efficacy in building positive and professional relationships across the school community.

The successful applicant should display capacity in strategic planning and utilise effective change management strategies in leading the school community to accept and develop opportunities for improved services and outcomes for students. This includes the use of evidence-based programs that focus on improving outcomes and building the social and emotional capacity of the students. Knowledge of trauma informed practices and positive education would be desirable.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
