A well established, family owned local business is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join their team as a Warehouse Officer.
They are dedicated to providing training to ensure your success in the role.
The successful candidate will commence as a casual with set days with the potential for the role to become a full time ongoing role.
Duties will include:
- Picking and packing - accurately pick, pack and dispatch orders for shipment, using the inventory management system to record information.
- Shipping and receiving - receive, unload and organise incoming stock and materials. Inspection of deliveries to ensure that there is no damage or discrepancies.
- Assist with the maintain of inventory levels in order to meet business requirements, conducting of regular stock takes and reporting/investigating variances found.
- Ensure that the warehouse is kep clean and tidy, ensuring that all goods are put away and equipment is checked and maintained in accordance with business requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Be able to show initiative and problem solve
- Work independently
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Physically fit
- Forklift License
- Current drivers license
