Employment: Permanent Part-Time
Locations: Stafford, McDowall, Alderley, Aspley, Zillmere, Mitchelton, Ferny Grove, Windsor, Spring Hill, Grange and surrounding northern Brisbane suburbs
Hours: We are currently seeking candidates available for 40+ hours per fortnight
Availability: You must be available from Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm
Shifts: Typically, 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day
Renumeration: Minimum Level 2.1 $36.22 /hr + Super + NFP Salary packaging. Salary Packaging up to $18,550 + Paid travel time + Kilometre reimbursement + Paid training + EAP.
Shift Type: 80% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care.
We are currently seeking Permanent Part time Support Workers to provide quality, person-centred support to QCSS clients in their own homes across Brisbane’s northern suburbs.
About QCSS
The Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) supports people to live independently and stay connected with their community. As a Support Worker, you will provide flexible, non-clinical support that promotes choice, dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Support clients to maintain independence and achieve their personal goals
- Facilitate social and community participation through companionship and outings
- Transport clients and assist with shopping,
errands and appointments using your own vehicle
- Build respectful, trusting relationships while promoting dignity, choice, privacy and independence
We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers who:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or a related field OR
- Experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Role Requirements:
- Australian working rights
- Current Australian Driver Licence – Open or Green P Plates.
- Current Queensland motor vehicle registration, access to a reliable, insured roadworthy vehicle
Willing to obtain
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR
