About the role
As a Junior Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to follow up recent business opportunities, nurture client relationships and meet sales targets. This is a junior role, perfect for someone from the hospitality, retail, call centre or service sectors who's ready to transition into a business environment. You'll play an important role in ensuring that sales operations run smoothly, client interactions are seamless, and daily tasks are completed efficiently. The role will also involve supporting more seasoned sales professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Cultivate and convert new leads through various channels, mainly via automated lead generation
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
- Meet quarterly sales quotas, consistently striving for revenue growth and contributing to the company's overall success
- Help prepare proposals, presentations, and reports
- Track and update sales activities, timelines, and deliverables
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to address their challenges
- Support in administering the Duress product trial process with customers
- Take an interest in industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and product development,
to align sales strategies with company objectives
- Organise files, contracts, and sales materials and identify opportunities to streamline day-to-day workflows
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in a customer facing role, preferably in software or hardware sales, with an initial understanding of technology products/services
- An ability or initial understanding on how to build a pipeline of leads and convert them into successful sales
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional, but approachable style and good presentation skills
- Proactive, reliable and eager to take initiative with eagerness to learn, grow and take on new challenges
- Comfortable using (or willing to learn) digital tools like email, scheduling platforms, and CRMs
- Adaptability and willingness to thrive in a fast-moving, growing company
