About You:

Fenner Conveyors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end scheduling and coordination of all maintenance activities across our plant and equipment. By collaborating closely with production, engineering, and trade teams, you will play a critical role in maximising equipment availability and minimising production downtime.

What You Bring

- Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance planning within a large-scale manufacturing, industrial processing, or heavy industry environment.
- Demonstrated experience using Mainpac CMMS for maintenance planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance methodologies.
- Experience planning maintenance activities for complex manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, process machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and automated systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.




- Advanced computer skills including Mainpac, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance KPIs and reliability principles.
- Proven experience planning major shutdowns and equipment overhauls.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding safety systems including risk assessments, permits, and isolation procedures.

Desirable Qualifications & Attributes

- Trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related discipline.
- Training or certification in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement.
- Experience within manufacturing environments such as rubber, steel, mining, food processing, packaging, or chemical manufacturing.

About the Role:

This role relies heavily on your expertise with the Mainpac CMMS to optimise asset performance, manage work order backlogs, and ensure all maintenance processes comply with strict site safety and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Scheduling & Planning: Develop, plan, and schedule preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Generate weekly and monthly schedules, and coordinate planned plant shutdowns, annual maintenance programs, and major equipment overhauls.
- CMMS Management: Utilise Mainpac CMMS to create, manage, prioritise, and close work orders. Maintain accurate asset registers, equipment hierarchies, maintenance histories, and spare parts information.
- Resource Coordination: Plan labour, materials, tools, contractor resources, and equipment required for maintenance tasks. Manage contractor activities, including scheduling, supervision,



and performance monitoring.
- Job Scoping: Review maintenance requests to determine job scope, priorities, labour requirements, and estimated task durations. Develop detailed job plans, procedures, and work instructions for repetitive maintenance activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to align maintenance schedules with operational requirements. Work collaboratively with Engineers, Supervisors, and Trades personnel to improve asset performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with site safety standards, permits, risk assessments, and legislative requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor work order backlogs and ensure planned work is executed within agreed timeframes. Track and report on maintenance KPIs (including schedule compliance, backlog, downtime, and reliability). Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Administration & Budgeting: Ensure maintenance documentation, drawings, manuals, and technical records are kept current and accessible. Assist with budgeting and forecasting maintenance spend.
