Job Description:
As a Metal Work Fabricator / Installer, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, welding and installation of sheet metal products across a variety of commercial and residential projects. This role offers a combination of workshop-based manufacturing and on-site installation work, providing variety and opportunities to further develop your skills.

Schedule:
Full time Position | Monday to Friday | 7:20am – 3:30pm
Initial 3-month casual probation period with a genuine pathway to permanent full-time employment

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products from workshop drawings

- Perform welding, cutting, grinding and finishing tasks

- Operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment

- Complete on-site installations as required

- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

- Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures





- Work collaboratively with the production and management team

- Assist in meeting production schedules and project deadlines

Skills & Requirements

- Current White Card (Required)

- Current Australian Driver's Licence (Essential)

- Forklift License (Preferred)

- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

- Good communication and problem-solving skills

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Experience & Qualifications

- MIG Welding: 2+ years (Required)

- TIG Welding: 2+ years (Required)

- Sheet Metal Fabrication: 2+ years (Preferred)

- Previous experience as a Metal Work Fabricator, Welder, Sheet Metal Worker or Site-Installer

- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

- Experience working with stainless steel, galvanised steel, mild steel and aluminium

- Experience operating fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
