Building Manager

Our client are a well‑established tier 3 commercial builder seeking an experienced Building Manager to lead its construction division and strengthen delivery across a diverse project portfolio.

You’ll oversee multiple commercial building projects, develop a capable team, improve systems and processes, and help shape the future structure and performance of the construction function. The role suits someone who enjoys being close to delivery while also thinking strategically about people, systems and operational improvement.

Key focus areas:

- Leading and developing the construction team
- Overseeing a varied portfolio of commercial building projects
- Improving and standardising construction processes and systems
- Driving adoption of new construction management technology
- Strengthening programme, cost, quality, WHS and client outcomes
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
- Supporting ongoing organisational development and capability building

What you bring:

- Must have commercial building experience




- Proven leadership across multiple projects and teams
- Strong commercial awareness and sound decision‑making
- Experience improving systems, processes and operational performance
- Ability to lead through change
- Curiosity, adaptability and a collaborative leadership style
- You could currently be a Construction Manager, Operations Manager or Building Manager looking for a broader leadership remit.

Remuneration: $250-$295k + Super + Car Allowance + Bonus.
