As the Purchasing & Warehouse Coordinator at Tank Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating purchasing and warehouse functions of our business. This full-time position is based in our Shaw workshop and is essential in ensuring the seamless coordination and scheduling of our Projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, process and manage purchase orders from approved purchase requisition forms
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies
- Coordinate workshop items and equipment to facilitate job completion
- Track outstanding orders and overdue deliveries
- Maintain supplier directory
- Track warranty for items being returned to supplier and to assist with account credits
- Fill Direct Sales Orders
- Maintain inventory & controls
- Freight bookings
- Coordinate servicing of instruments and company vehicles
About you
- Current drivers licence
- Excellent communications skills to support customer and supplier liaison
- Computer skills – intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite & MYOB
- Proven time management & organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Willingness to take on any aspect of a job to ensure its successful completion
