With the Championship Course set to open in December, we are looking for experienced horse trail guides to join our team and help us get ready for Summer 2026/2027.
What you can expect in a day in the role:
Working with some of the best Arabian horses in the country, you will play an integral part of the stables team. Daily tasks could look like, but not be limited to:
- Preparing horses and leading guests on guided trail rides and group riding experiences.
- Accompany guests and customers on tours and whilst on horseback
- Engage with community groups, including children and adults with disabilities and disadvantaged youth
- Responsible for maintaining clean stables through daily mucking out, and providing general care for the horses, including feeding, grooming, water supply, etc
- Assist with equipment management and cleanliness
What you’ll bring to the role:
Joining our Stables team means no two days will be the same! A positive attitude and flexibility are key to success in this role. As a Trail Ride Guide/ Stable Attendant, you’ll bring experience and knowledge, while also showing a willingness to learn and adapt to our unique style and team. We are looking for:
- Experience and ability to assist others on horses whilst riding including leading trail rides, or areas rides
- Confident and knowledgeable about riding a range of horses, including Arabians and Warmbloods and being able to adapt to our riding style
- Extensive knowledge in general horse care,
including grooming, general health and wellbeing, handling, etc
- Extensive experience and knowledge in handling horses safely and confidently on the ground, including in large herd settings
- Understanding of loading and unloading horse transport and equipment
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance to a high standard, along with cleanliness
- High standards of reliable presentation and cleanliness
- Strong assurance and knowledge of safety for guests, with a passion for providing excellent customer service and experience
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a strong desire to learn
- Ability to work shifts across a 7-day week roster, especially weekends, and willing to be flexible on start and end times for business requirements
- Full Driver’s License (or provisional), a Working with Vulnerable People Check (or able to obtain)
